Martin Kove bites co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at fan convention

In the United States, during a recent event at the Summer Con in Puyallup, Washington, actor Martin Kove allegedly bit his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim while participating in a VIP meet-and-greet. The incident occurred on a Sunday when Kove, 78, was approached by Hannah-Kim, 37, who greeted him by tapping his shoulder. Kove reportedly grabbed her arm and bit down hard enough to nearly draw blood. In response to her cry of pain, he then kissed the bitten area, which drew the attention of bystanders. Hannah-Kim, visibly distressed, informed her husband about the situation. They both approached Kove to confront him regarding the outburst, at which point Kove allegedly reacted angrily, expressing disdain that they would confront him. He claimed that he thought he was being humorous and indicated that such playful behavior was normal for him during their co-working experience on the set of 'Cobra Kai.' Following the confrontation, Hannah-Kim reported the incident to an officer present at the event, explaining that the bite left visible teeth marks and bruising on her arm. Although she chose not to press charges against Kove, she requested that an official report be filed to document the event, expressing worry that similar behavior might occur in the future. Consequently, Kove was asked to leave the convention, and officials warned him to avoid engaging in such conduct in the future. After the incident, Kove offered a public apology, indicating that he had gone too far in what he intended to be a playful moment. He expressed regret for his actions, recognizing that Hannah-Kim did not deserve to be placed in such a situation, and emphasized his respect for her as a co-worker. Kove stated, "I was being playful in the moment but went too far and there is absolutely no excuse for my behavior."
