UAE Crown Prince visits India on September 9-10

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is set to visit India on September 9-10, marking his first official trip to the country in his capacity as Crown Prince. The visit is at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will include a delegation of UAE ministers and business leaders. On the first day, discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including trade, investment, and technology. During his visit, Sheikh Khaled will meet with Prime Minister Modi and also pay respects at Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Additionally, he is scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu, further solidifying diplomatic ties between the two nations. The visit underscores the historically close relationship between India and the UAE, which has been strengthened through a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. On September 10, the Crown Prince will participate in a Business Forum in Mumbai, where leaders from both countries will explore new avenues for collaboration. This forum aims to bolster economic ties and promote investment opportunities, reflecting the growing trade relations since the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The visit is expected to reinforce the strong bilateral relations and open new pathways for cooperation in emerging areas. It follows Prime Minister Modi's visit to the UAE earlier this year, where significant agreements were made to enhance regional connectivity and economic collaboration, highlighting the commitment of both nations to work together for mutual benefit.
