An inquest has commenced into the tragic deaths of racing commentator John Hunt's family, who were found fatally injured at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on July 9. The victims, 28-year-old Hannah Hunt, her 25-year-old sister Louise, and their 61-year-old mother Carol, were discovered shortly after Hannah managed to call the police, reporting that she had been "tied up" during a crossbow attack. The call was abruptly cut off, prompting immediate police action. During the inquest at Hertfordshire Coroner's Court, it was revealed that Hannah had dialed 999 to report the shooting of herself and her family. When police arrived, they found her alive at the main doorway, with a crossbow bolt lodged in her chest.
