Jon Witz, the festival's producer, emphasized the event's commitment to innovation and variety, aiming to provide a fresh and exciting experience for the hundreds of thousands of attendees expected this year. Admission to the festival is structured to encourage early attendance, with free entry before 5 p.m. on Friday. After that time, tickets will be priced at $12. For the remainder of the weekend, tickets are $10 before 3 p.m. on Saturday through Monday, increasing to $12 after that time. This pricing strategy aims to attract a diverse audience while maintaining accessibility. The festival's schedule features a wide array of performances across various genres. Highlights include Thornetta Davis, a renowned R&B artist, and the Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music, showcasing their talents from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Other performances include Zang, The Misty Blues Party Band, and Jackson and the Poolsharks, among many others, ensuring a vibrant musical experience throughout the event.
