A retired couple from the United States has embarked on an ambitious quest to dine at every Texas Roadhouse restaurant nationwide. Mike and Judy McNamara, currently traveling through Northwest Indiana, have set their sights on visiting all 650 locations of the popular chain. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Mike shared insights into their journey, which includes two major road trips each year. The couple's adventure began after Judy retired in 2017, prompting Mike to create a spreadsheet to track their visits. As of now, they have dined at 433 locations, with plans to visit Southern Ohio next, marking their 437th stop. While they also enjoy visiting national parks and museums, the primary focus of their travels has become the Texas Roadhouse experience. Mike McNamara expressed that the couple's fondness for the restaurant stems from both the food and the community atmosphere. He noted that Texas Roadhouse feels like a family, highlighting the numerous familiar faces they encounter during their visits. Judy enjoys alternating her meals between chicken and shrimp, while Mike favors the six-ounce sirloin accompanied by a salad and baked potato. The couple's love for Texas Roadhouse extends beyond the menu; Mike described the food as reminiscent of home cooking. He even shared a unique twist on dessert, using leftover cinnamon honey butter from his sweet potato to create a dessert roll, showcasing their deep appreciation for the chain's offerings.
