Fisherman in Rough Seas Captured by Photographer

In a quest for a distinctive photograph, a photographer reflects on his experience in Beirut, where he relocated in 2015. He describes the challenges of finding fresh perspectives in a small city, emphasizing the need for both hard work and a bit of luck. On a particular day, he ventured to a remote rocky area along the coastline, armed with just one camera and lens, determined to capture a compelling image. Arriving an hour before sunset, the photographer scouted for the perfect location. He spotted a group of fishermen on a low rocky outcrop, framed beautifully by the setting sun. However, as the waves intensified, most fishermen retreated, leaving only one who skillfully navigated the challenging conditions.
