At its 47th annual general meeting, Reliance Industries, led by chairman Mukesh Ambani, emphasized its commitment to integrating artificial intelligence across its diverse business sectors, including telecommunications, retail, and energy. The company plans to establish AI-ready data centers in Jamnagar, Gujarat, utilizing green energy resources to reduce AI inferencing costs in India. This initiative aims to make AI applications more accessible and affordable for users. Reliance's telecom division, Jio, is developing an AI suite named 'Jio Brain' to enhance AI adoption within its operations and other Reliance subsidiaries. Additionally, the company is collaborating with Jio Institute to foster AI talent in India, indicating a long-term investment in the country's technological capabilities.
