Story

Ford Motor Company has introduced a new range of electric bikes, expanding its popular Bronco and Mustang nameplates. Tyler Hill, Ford's global brand licensing manager, emphasized that these eBikes will allow enthusiasts to experience the adventurous spirit of the Bronco and the thrill of the Mustang in a new way. Both models boast a 60-mile range and require only 3.5 hours to charge, featuring a full-color LCD panel that displays speed, battery life, and range. The Mustang eBike is designed for "Adrenaline Chasers," equipped with Pirelli Angel GT semi-slick tires to enhance speed, handling, and rider safety. Ford has also released a special edition of the Mustang bike to commemorate the car's 60th anniversary, offering customers a choice of ten colors for an additional fee of $390. Meanwhile, the Bronco bike caters to those with an adventurous spirit, featuring dual suspension and a "G.O.A.T." system, which stands for "Goes Over Any Type of Terrain." In collaboration with N+, a company specializing in electric bikes and micromobility, Ford aims to provide a more utilitarian commuting experience alongside the excitement of riding. The new electric bikes are now available for purchase, with deliveries anticipated later this year. Ford has been approached for further comments regarding the launch and its future plans in the electric bike market.
