China"s services trade fair in Beijing promotes global prosperity

The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) commenced in Beijing on September 14, 2024, under the theme "Global Services, Shared Prosperity." This year’s event attracted participation from 85 countries and international organizations, alongside over 450 Fortune Global 500 companies. The fair features more than 100 events, including thematic forums and project promotion conferences, showcasing over 200 integrated innovation achievements. Since its quality upgrade in 2020, the services trade fair has gained significant influence, becoming a vital platform for fostering international cooperation in the service sector. The event has seen participation from over 900,000 exhibitors from 197 countries since its inception in 2012. Special exhibition areas have been established to highlight the unique services trade advantages of participating nations and to promote cultural and tourism features. China's commitment to high-quality development in services trade is evident through the rapid release of supportive policies, which are enhancing global confidence and creating new opportunities for foreign enterprises. Schneider Electric, a long-time participant, plans to tailor innovative service solutions for the Chinese market and establish cooperation agreements with local partners. The 2024 CIFTIS aims to achieve practical results through precise matchmaking, reflecting China's dedication to providing new opportunities globally through its modernization efforts. The event is expected to play a crucial role in expanding international cooperation and leading innovation in the services trade sector.
