On a recent occasion in Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav engaged in one-on-one discussions with various industrialists and investors during the Sagar Regional Industry Conclave. The event focused on attracting investment and promoting industrial activities within Madhya Pradesh. Notably, A N Sriram, the Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, shared plans for a Skill Development Institute aimed at empowering local youth, alongside the expansion of the Bina Refinery. Additionally, S K Das from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation announced that natural gas production in Hatta is expected to commence by 2026-27, which is anticipated to boost revenue and create job opportunities. The discussions also encompassed the establishment of food processing units, with input from Anil Tiwari of Swasti Agro Science and Pramil Jindal of Baramalt. In the energy sector, several executives, including Hanish Gupta and Manish Gupta, expressed interest in renewable energy investments. The IT and semiconductor sectors were highlighted as areas of potential growth, with Raunak Chaudhary and Navjot Singh Sandhu engaging in talks with Yadav. Moreover, human resources and mining topics were addressed with Agyat Gupta and J P Agarwal. The tourism and aviation sectors were also on the agenda, with Manoj Soni and S Ram discussing promotional strategies. Lastly, Sunil Bansal presented plans for a solar power plant and hospital constructions in key cities, while infrastructure development was a focal point for several engineering and steel company representatives.
