In Hong Kong SAR on April 7, 2025, Schneider Electric unveiled the Galaxy VXL, a highly advanced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to protect critical infrastructure, particularly within AI, data center environments, and large-scale industrial facilities. The Galaxy VXL boasts a compact modular design, enabling it to efficiently power substantial workloads with a maximum capacity of 1.25 MW in one unit and up to 5 MW in parallel configurations. This UPS features a remarkable power density of 1042 kW/m2 and occupies a significantly smaller footprint than typical systems, enhancing its placement flexibility and operational efficiency. The launch emphasizes the growing demand for reliable energy solutions as industries increasingly depend on sophisticated infrastructure capable of supporting energy-intensive applications, including AI and large data operations. Schneider Electric aims to provide sustainable options to its customers, minimizing their energy consumption and carbon footprint.
