Indore, Madhya Pradesh – In a proactive initiative to bolster emergency response skills among the youth, Free Press has launched the 'Save My Heart' campaign in partnership with Madhavbaug, a prominent Ayurvedic healthcare provider. The campaign aims to educate school students in Indore on the essential techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), a critical skill in cardiac emergencies. The launch event, attended by medical professionals and campaign organizers, emphasized the importance of equipping young individuals with life-saving knowledge. Swapnil Mandole, corporate head of Madhavbaug, highlighted the campaign's focus on standardizing CPR training in local schools. He stated that the program will cover vital CPR techniques, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Mandole underscored the significance of these skills, noting that they can be pivotal in life-or-death situations. "By teaching these skills to our youth, we are not only empowering them but also creating a more prepared and resilient community," he remarked. The training sessions will be conducted by certified instructors, providing students with hands-on experience using mannequins and AED devices. The 'Save My Heart' campaign is set to reach over 70 schools in Indore, fostering a culture of preparedness among the younger generation. To culminate the initiative, a special award ceremony will be held on World Heart Day, September 29, at the Free Press premises, recognizing the top five performers in the program.
