The acclaimed play "Glengarry Glen Ross," penned by David Mamet, is set to return to Broadway next spring, featuring a high-profile cast that includes Kieran Culkin, Bob Odenkirk, and Bill Burr. This revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, which delves into the cutthroat world of real estate sales, marks the fourth Broadway outing for the production. Directed by Tony Award winner Patrick Marber, who first encountered the play in London in 1983, this rendition promises to bring fresh energy to the classic narrative. Culkin, known for his role in "Succession," will portray Richard Roma, the ambitious salesman, while Odenkirk, famed for his performances in "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul," takes on the role of Shelly Levene, a struggling veteran in the industry. Burr, a prominent standup comedian, will make his Broadway debut as Dave Moss, Roma's competitive counterpart. This production will be a significant milestone for both Odenkirk and Burr, who have yet to tread the Broadway boards. The revival is produced by Jeffrey Richards, a veteran of previous "Glengarry" productions, alongside collaborator Rebecca Gold. Although plans for an all-female version of the play were previously announced, they did not materialize. Mamet's work has sparked debate in recent years due to his controversial views, yet his earlier plays, including "American Buffalo," continue to receive acclaim, indicating a lasting impact on the theater landscape.
