Tragic couple dies just days apart in separate holiday accidents

Approximately 24 hours after the incident involving Scott, Mary Lou Levitan was tragically killed in a separate accident. On Friday, December 30, 2024, while driving to retrieve her husband’s vehicle following the ice fishing accident, Mary Lou was a rear-seat passenger in a car that was involved in a head-on collision in Oakland County. The driver of the opposing vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with Mary Lou's vehicle.
