Terrorists kill six people in a Jerusalem bus attack

On September 7, 2025, a tragic terrorist attack occurred in Jerusalem, Israel, where six individuals lost their lives. The incident unfolded around 10:00 a.m. at the Ramot Junction when two armed Palestinian Arab terrorists opened fire on civilians waiting at a bus stop. Following the initial attack, they boarded an Egged bus, where they continued shooting at passengers directly. Authorities reported that the terrorists infiltrated Jerusalem through a breach in the security fence. As the terrifying scene unfolded, both assailants were ultimately shot and killed by responding forces. The victims of this attack were identified shortly after, revealing a poignant loss that affected many lives: Rabbi Mordechai Steinzag, 79, an American immigrant who owned a bakery; Levy Yitzhak Pash, 57, who worked at a yeshiva; Yisrael Metzner, 28, a resident of Jerusalem; Rabbi Yosef David, 43; Yaakov Pinto, 25, a newlywed immigrant; and Sarah Mendelson, 60, a significant figure in the Bnei Akiva youth movement. Each of them had individual histories and contributions to their communities.
