Auctioneer Christie's held a preview event in London, giving the public an opportunity to view the collection ahead of its auction set for January 22, 2025. Beck, who was part of the 1960s guitar hero cohort alongside legends like Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, had a unique sound and was renowned for his improvisational skills, influencing countless musicians over his career. The auction features some of Beck's most valued possessions, including a 1954 Gibson Les Paul and a Telecaster-Gibson hybrid known as the 'Tele-Gib,' with expectations that the guitars will fetch significant sums given their storied history and Beck's impact on the music industry.
