Former heavyweight boxing champion and wrestling star Butterbean has expressed admiration for Logan Paul while criticizing his brother, Jake Paul, whom he referred to as a "tool." During a live Q&A session at Georgia Pop and Horror Con, Butterbean, who boasts a record of 77 wins and 10 losses in boxing, acknowledged Logan's progress in wrestling but maintained a negative view of Jake, stating, "I don’t care for him." Butterbean, 58, has a rich history in combat sports, having competed in boxing, MMA, and professional wrestling throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He challenged Jake Paul to a fight, offering a lucrative $2 million (£1.5 million) purse, while asserting that he would easily defeat the YouTuber-turned-boxer. He remarked, “I’d love to fight Jake Paul but he’s too smart to fight me. I’m not saying he’s a coward or anything like that but I would destroy him.” Jake Paul has gained notoriety in the boxing world since his debut in January 2020, often facing off against older combat sports figures. Butterbean's challenge comes as he awaits the outcome of his own upcoming fight against Tyson, which is set to be streamed live on Netflix in November. The anticipation surrounding both fighters continues to grow as they navigate their respective careers in the evolving landscape of combat sports.
