A recent survey by Which? has shed light on the variations in seat size and leg space among 12 major short-haul airlines operating from the UK. Leading the pack were Aer Lingus, Lufthansa, and KLM, which offered generous seat pitches ranging from 29 to 33 inches. In stark contrast, Wizz Air and TUI fell short, providing a more restrictive seat pitch of just 28 inches, leaving passengers with limited space to stretch out. In terms of seat width, most airlines offer similar dimensions, averaging around 17 inches. However, easyJet, TAP Portugal, and Lufthansa stand out by providing slightly more room at 18 inches, enhancing passenger comfort.
