Katie Price, the former glamour model, was arrested at Heathrow Airport upon her return to the UK on Thursday evening. The 46-year-old was detained for failing to attend a court hearing related to her bankruptcies, with an arrest warrant issued on July 30. Price has maintained that she was not evading her legal responsibilities, stating she was abroad working on a documentary about corrective surgeries during the missed hearing. Upon her arrival at the Royal Courts of Justice on Friday, Price was seen wearing a black head covering and bandages, flanked by photographers. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest of a 46-year-old woman from Surrey at 19:45 BST, noting that she was initially held in custody at a west London police station but was later released on bail the same evening. The upcoming hearing, presided over by Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Daniel Schaffer, is set to take place at the Rolls Building. However, Price is expected to participate via video link from a nearby office of High Court enforcement staff. Price, who has faced financial difficulties since being declared bankrupt in November 2019 and again in March 2023, was previously ordered to pay 40% of her monthly income from her OnlyFans account for three years as part of her bankruptcy proceedings. Judicial warnings had been issued to Price regarding her attendance at the July hearing, highlighting the seriousness of her financial situation.
