In the United States, Indra has secured a project to implement its state-of-the-art traffic management and tolling technology on the SR 400 Express Lanes in Atlanta. Chosen by the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority, Indra will collaborate with the SR 400 Peach Partners consortium to enhance traffic efficiency and safety. The project involves over 16 miles of highway and aims to incorporate intelligent traffic systems, advanced communication, and an open road tolling solution to reduce congestion and emissions while facilitating better travel experiences.
