MEP Peter Agius Criticizes Labour Members for Not Voting

In a recent interview, Agius highlighted the need for Maltese MEPs to rally around common goals, particularly in relation to governance in Europe and Malta. Addressing concerns about Malta's potential suspension from the Schengen Area, Agius noted that the government is actively working to ensure compliance with new regulations by implementing a rapid response system. This initiative aims to mitigate risks associated with Schengen membership, underscoring the urgency of maintaining Malta's position within the European framework. Agius also commented on the European Green Deal, which aims for climate neutrality by 2050.
