The National Children’s Chorus (NCC) has announced its 2024/25 season, titled Kaleidoscope, under the direction of Artistic Director Luke McEndarfer and Associate Artistic Director Dr. Pamela Blackstone. This season will feature numerous performances across various cities, including Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C., serving approximately 1,400 students in 39 ensembles. Notable events include performances of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and Handel’s Messiah, showcasing the organization’s commitment to classical music. In March, the NCC will collaborate with the LA Master Chorale and LA Children’s Chorus to perform Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, highlighting the dramatic themes of the piece. The NCC will also present a multi-sensory concert, Chromatic Odyssey, at Carnegie Hall, featuring young vocalists from all its chapter cities.
