Schneider Electric has been recognized for its sustainability efforts, topping the 'World’s Most Sustainable Companies for 2024' list by Time magazine and Statista. This accolade is a result of the company's ambitious goals to reduce emissions and enhance energy efficiency for its customers. The evaluation process involved a thorough assessment of over 5,000 companies, focusing on sustainability ratings, corporate practices, and performance indicators, ultimately ranking 500 firms from more than 30 countries. This initiative has led to significant achievements, including the reduction of carbon emissions by 553 million tons since 2018. Furthermore, Schneider Electric has made strides in improving its supply chain, with a 27% decrease in carbon emissions from its top 1,000 suppliers and 21% of strategic partners meeting decent work standards.
