On a Friday night in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, a police operation led by station in-charge Vikas Patel resulted in the arrest of 19 individuals for illegal gambling at Mahavir Shaktiwat Farmhouse, located near Sediya village. The police acted on a tip-off from an informer, which prompted the raid. During the operation, the authorities seized Rs 27,140 in cash and 52 playing cards from the suspects. While three individuals managed to escape, the remaining were apprehended and included notable figures such as Harish Parwani and Azam Khan, among others. The police's actions were conducted under the supervision of senior officials, including SP Akint Jaiswal and ASP Naval Singh Sisodia. A case was registered against all arrested individuals under section 13 of the Gambling Act at the Neemuch city police station. The owner of the farmhouse, Mahavir Singh, was also implicated in the illegal activities.
