This September, Airbnb is inviting fans to a unique sleepover experience in a life-sized dollhouse, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the beloved toy, Polly Pocket. Located in Littleton, Massachusetts, the 42-foot tall, 1994-themed pink compact will host four guests each night for a nostalgic camping experience under the stars. The event, titled "Sleepover at Polly Pocket’s Compact," allows fans to relive their childhood memories in a setting designed to evoke the charm of the 90s. Guests will enjoy a range of activities during their stay, including accessorizing at Polly's vanity, indulging in 90s snacks from a retro fridge, and participating in bracelet-making sessions. The experience promises a whimsical atmosphere, complete with sleeping bags and a vintage two-storey pad. The Airbnb listing, humorously hosted by Polly Pocket, invites friends to join in the fun, emphasizing the nostalgic elements that have made the doll a cherished icon since its debut. Reservations for the sleepover can be made for dates between September 12 and 14, priced at $89 (£70) per person, a nod to the doll's introduction in 1989. Additionally, from September 16 to October 6, Airbnb will offer 21 daytime experiences at the compact, accommodating up to 12 guests for further nostalgic adventures. Airbnb continues its tradition of creating imaginative stays, having previously featured properties inspired by popular culture, including Shrek’s swamp and Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse, further enhancing its reputation as a platform for unique and memorable experiences.
