Army Vet Sets Record with 99.9% of Body Tattooed
- Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina of Bridgeport Connecticut set a new world record.
- She achieved 99.9% body coverage with tattoos and body modifications.
- The veteran won two Guinness World Records for her remarkable feat.
Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina, a Connecticut Army veteran, has achieved remarkable recognition by becoming the most tattooed woman and the individual with the most body modifications in history. With an astonishing 99.98% of her body covered in tattoos, Fuerzina's decade-long journey of self-expression includes unique features such as tattooed eyeballs and scale-like implants in her scalp. "I think it’s obvious I’m not trying to adhere to traditional beauty standards," she stated, highlighting the liberating yet often misunderstood nature of her choices. Fuerzina's achievement comes as she surpasses the previous record held by Charlotte Guttenberg, who had 98.7% of her body tattooed. In contrast, Fuerzina's body modification record was set at an impressive 40, a figure that had remained unchanged since 2012. Her journey into the world of tattoos began at the age of 21, starting with a personal symbol on her hip, which she later covered up. Reflecting on her record application, Fuerzina admitted to initial apprehension but felt compelled to showcase women's strength and possibilities. She often collaborates with tattoo artists, allowing them to unleash their creativity on her body, which she describes as a living canvas. Despite her significant accomplishments, Fuerzina emphasizes that her journey is far from over, expressing her intent to continue her body art exploration. "Of course, I am not done!" she declared, leaving the door open for future modifications.
