Local Player Aims to Join Ravens Team

Beau Brade, a Howard County native and former standout at River Hill High School, is vying for a position on the Baltimore Ravens' 53-man roster following the conclusion of training camp. After a successful collegiate career at the University of Maryland, Brade is eager to impress the Ravens coaching staff and fulfill his dream of playing for the team he has supported since childhood. "The last couple years of college I had to kind of chill out because I didn't know where I was going to be," Brade reflected, emphasizing his transition from fan to player. As an undrafted rookie, Brade understands the challenges ahead and is focused on showcasing his skills. "I've got to show what I can do. I can't be nervous; I have to be confident in my game," he stated.
