Moore emphasized that her debut song was pivotal, stating, "It opened so many doors for me to try my hand at acting and get me to this point." Looking back at her appearance at the 2000 MTV Music Awards, Moore recalled her outfit of shimmery white jeans and a sheer gold top layered over a white tank, humorously noting, "I would definitely not wear this today." She expressed the thrill of her early experiences, particularly during the filming of her first music video, where she was excited to explore the hair, makeup, and wardrobe processes, which were all new to her at the time.
