- Two missing Britons found dead in a car in Sweden.
- Swedish prosecutors investigating the deaths.
- Tragic end for the missing individuals.
In a tragic development, two British nationals, Farooq Abdulrazak, 37, and Juan Cifuentes, 33, have been confirmed as the deceased individuals discovered in a burned-out car in Malmö, Sweden. The men, both from north London, were reported missing in July after failing to return from a business trip. Their bodies were located in a torched Toyota vehicle on July 14, prompting an investigation by Swedish authorities. The Swedish Prosecution Authority has classified the case as a suspected double murder, with both men believed to have been shot prior to the vehicle being set ablaze. Investigators revealed that Abdulrazak and Cifuentes had rented the car at a Danish airport just hours before their bodies were found in the Fosie industrial area of Malmö. Senior prosecutor Magnus Pettersson confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and that they are collaborating closely with British law enforcement. The Metropolitan Police have informed the families of the deceased and are providing them with support through specially trained officers. A spokesperson for the UK Foreign Office stated that they are in contact with local authorities and are assisting the families during this difficult time. In July, local police appealed to the public for any information that could aid the investigation, but as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
