A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a brutal attack on 57-year-old Anita Rose while she was walking her dog in Brantham, Suffolk. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, around 6:25 AM, when Ms. Rose was discovered unconscious on a track near Rectory Lane. She has since been hospitalized at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where she remains in critical condition due to a serious head injury. In an effort to gather more information, Suffolk Police released an image of Ms. Rose from the morning of the attack, appealing for assistance in locating her mobile phone and a pink zip-up jacket. The arrested man, who is from the Ipswich area, is currently being questioned by authorities. Police have indicated that there is no known connection between the suspect and the victim at this time.
