Montana governor Gianforte"s foundation donates $57 million since 2017

Since 2017, Greg Gianforte's family foundation has donated $57 million to various charities and social issue nonprofits, coinciding with his political career that began when he was elected as a Montana congressman. The foundation's assets have fluctuated between $163 million and $232 million during this period, with a total of nearly $119 million granted over its 20-year existence. Notably, the foundation's contributions to Montana-based organizations increased from 53% in 2017 to 67% in 2022, reflecting a growing commitment to local causes.
