Bestselling novelists Colleen Hoover, Emily Henry, and Elin Hilderbrand are set to have their literary works adapted for the screen, alongside emerging authors Shelby Van Pelt, Jessica Anya Blau, and Gabrielle Zevin, whose stories will be brought to life for the first time. Notably, Sally Field is in discussions to star in one of the upcoming adaptations, which will be available for streaming on Netflix. Emily Henry's novel "Funny Story" will be adapted into a film, marking her debut as a scriptwriter. The plot revolves around two individuals seeking revenge on their ex-partners, who are now in a relationship together. While the cast for "Funny Story" has yet to be announced, the project is generating significant interest as it continues Henry's trend of having her works optioned for film. Colleen Hoover's "Verity" is also in the pipeline, although details regarding the cast remain undisclosed.
