Pianist jailed for seven years after bleach attack on boyfriend in East Sussex

Marlena Meczynska-Shiibashi, a 38-year-old pianist from East Sussex, was sentenced to seven years in prison after a violent incident involving her boyfriend. In April of the previous year, after her boyfriend visited her home due to concerns from family members, Meczynska-Shiibashi attempted to initiate sexual activity, which he declined. The victim described waking up to the sensation of liquid on his cheek, only to realize it was bleach and blood from a stab wound.
