In response to increased passenger demand, the Railways have introduced two special train services between Madgaon and Panvel. The first service, designated as 01428, will depart from Madgaon at 09:30 hrs on September 15, 2024, and is scheduled to arrive in Panvel at 22:15 hrs the same day. The return service, 01427, will leave Panvel at 23:45 hrs on the same date and reach Madgaon at 11:00 hrs the following day. These special trains will make several halts along the route, including key stations such as Pen, Roha, and Ratnagiri, among others. The composition of the trains includes a variety of classes to accommodate different passenger needs, featuring one AC-2 Tier, three AC-3 Tier, two AC-3 Tier Economy, eight Sleeper class, and five General Second Class coaches, along with a Guard’s brake van and a Generator Car.
