Local Leaders Address Train Crossing Issues in Tarrant County

Eagle Mountain, a northwest Tarrant County neighborhood, has been grappling with a persistent issue related to a train crossing that serves as the sole entry and exit point for residents. Over the past year, this crossing has left residents stranded for hours, prompting local leaders to seek solutions. Jeff Kennedy, a Southwest Airlines pilot and long-time resident of Vista Ranch, expressed frustration over the delays, particularly as he often rushes to catch flights. In response to the community's concerns, Tarrant County officials are taking action to alleviate the problem. County Commissioner Roy Charles Ramirez announced plans for a new road that aims to improve access and safety for residents.
