The arrests were confirmed in a press release from the San Francisco Police Department on Friday. The incident occurred around 3:41 p.m. when plainclothes officers observed a male and female selling suspected narcotics from their vehicle on the 100 block of Eddy Street. The officers, assigned to the Tenderloin station, developed probable cause to detain the suspects, who were later identified as 39-year-old Jason Bell and 46-year-old Ibtihaj Hammond, both residents of San Francisco. Following their arrest, Bell and Hammond were booked into San Francisco County jail. They face multiple charges, including possession of cocaine base for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, and criminal conspiracy.
