Michigan Doctor Charged with Indecent Exposure

A 54-year-old doctor from Michigan, Stephen Bruce Mason, faces charges of assault and aggravated indecent exposure following an incident involving a 76-year-old woman he met online. The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office announced the charges, detailing that the incident occurred on August 1, when Mason drove the victim home after her hair appointment. Upon arriving at her residence, the victim invited Mason inside, where he allegedly made unwanted sexual advances. After the woman rejected his advances, Mason reportedly proceeded to masturbate in front of her, prompting her to report the incident to authorities. Mason was arraigned in Sterling Heights District Court, where he was granted a $1,000 bond. A probable cause conference is set for August 22, as the legal proceedings continue. Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido emphasized the impartiality of the legal system, stating that the law applies equally to all individuals, regardless of their profession or social status. He reaffirmed the commitment to pursuing justice and holding individuals accountable for their actions, highlighting the seriousness of the charges against Mason.
