Sodexo Campus Brings Local Chefs to College Campuses

Sodexo Campus has teamed up with the James Beard Foundation to enhance dining experiences at several universities. Starting this November, local chefs affiliated with the Foundation will visit campuses including George Mason University, University of Cincinnati, University of Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, and Colorado School of Mines. Each chef will create unique dishes tailored to their respective campus communities. Notable chefs participating include Chef Joy Crump from Fredericksburg, Va., Chef Jeff Harris from Cincinnati, and Chef Jennifer Jasinski from Denver. These chefs will not only prepare specialized meals but will also engage with students and provide training for the culinary staff on campus. The collaboration aims to celebrate local flavors and improve student engagement with food services. Sodexo's Chief Marketing Officer, Drew Nannis, emphasized the importance of incorporating local flavors into the dining experience.
