Police investigate multiple shootings and homicide in Denver

Shortly thereafter, at about 2:35 a.m., another shooting took place in Northeast Denver, in the 5900 block of North Dunkirk Street, resulting in another hospital transport but without any further details revealed about injuries or suspects involved. In addition, the Denver police are seeking public assistance in the investigation into a separate homicide incident that occurred in the 1000 block of North Lincoln Street early Saturday morning. The circumstances here involved two individuals becoming victims of a shooting at approximately 3:20 a.m., with one sustaining only minor injuries while the second, identified as Antonio Vargas, suffered serious wounds and later succumbed at a hospital. Surveillance footage captured activity in the area prior to the incident but did not provide definitive identification of suspects. Authorities have now turned to the public for any information regarding the suspects involved in both the recent shootings and the homicide.
