Minnesota State Fair 2023 enhances accessibility with mobile bathrooms

The Minnesota State Fair has reintroduced a mobile bathroom service for the second consecutive year, aimed at enhancing accessibility for all attendees. This initiative, provided by Momentum Refresh, features a unique mobile unit equipped with a wheelchair lift, an adult-sized changing table, and a hoist for transfers, making it the first of its kind at the fair. The service has been well-received, allowing families who previously hesitated to attend due to restroom accessibility issues to enjoy the fair fully. Advocates like Sarah St. Louis have played a crucial role in promoting this service, sharing their experiences and encouraging others to utilize the accessible facilities.
