Pittsburgh Steelers and Humane Animal Rescue Join Forces for Donation Drive

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — In a collaborative effort to support local animals, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh is partnering with the Pittsburgh Steelers to host a donation drive during the team's training camp at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., inviting fans and community members to contribute essential items for pets. Donors are encouraged to bring a variety of supplies, including pet food, toys, bedding, and cleaning materials, to the designated donation site located next to Chuck Noll Field. This initiative aims to gather resources that will benefit both the animals in the care of the Humane Animal Rescue and those in the surrounding community. Christi Robinette, Board Chair of Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, "We're ready to blitz the field with donations and make a big play for our animals."
