Northbound I-75 near Swan Creek Road in Monroe County reopened Tuesday morning after an early morning crash. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported the incident around 6 a.m. Michigan State Police were on the scene, advising drivers to seek alternate routes due to complications arising from the wreck. The two left lanes of southbound I-75 at Huron River Drive were also affected but have since reopened. Additionally, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office was managing a separate crash on southbound I-275, which necessitated the closure of that highway to allow a helicopter to land. This was due to injuries incurred in the crash. All southbound lanes on I-75 after I-275 Exit 20 later reopened, alleviating traffic delays caused by the incidents.
