A manhunt is currently in progress for a group of up to seven youths following a stabbing incident involving a 16-year-old boy outside a high school in Fraser Rise, Melbourne. Emergency services responded to the scene at City Vista Court around 3:10 PM on Thursday, where the victim was found with a stab wound to his arm. His current condition remains unknown as he was transported to Western Hospital for treatment. Authorities believe the attack was targeted, with the boy allegedly assaulted by a group of males armed with machetes while he was waiting at a bus stop. Disturbing footage obtained by Nine News shows individuals dressed in black hoodies and face coverings, brandishing what appear to be machetes. After the attack, the group reportedly fled the scene in a black Honda sedan. The incident has left local residents in shock, prompting police to cordon off the area and instruct nearby residents to remain indoors. One concerned resident, Steve, expressed his alarm, stating, "I have a young family so this was quite a concern. It looked pretty serious. Police were everywhere and the whole neighborhood was in lockdown."
