Teenager Assaulted in Dundee

A manhunt is currently in progress following a disturbing incident in Dundee, where a 17-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while walking home from a night out. The attack occurred around 3:10 AM on Sunday on Dens Road, close to its intersection with Laing Street, when the victim was approached by three men. One of the men forcibly grabbed her and committed the assault before fleeing northward, away from the city center. Police Scotland has launched an extensive investigation into the incident, with Detective Inspector Graeme Wishart emphasizing the need to identify the "despicable" individual responsible for this distressing crime. The victim managed to return home, at which point the alarm was raised. Authorities are urging anyone with information that could aid the investigation to come forward. The three suspects involved in the incident are described as white males. The primary attacker is believed to be between 19 and 23 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 to 9 inches tall, and has a slim build with muscular arms. He was last seen wearing a striking electric-blue sporty t-shirt. DI Wishart has specifically called on individuals who were in the vicinity of Dens Road during the time of the assault to report any suspicious activity. Additionally, anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage from the area is encouraged to share it with the police to assist in their inquiries.
