Three injured in bar shooting in Joliet, Illinois

Early Sunday morning, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a shooting incident occurred inside Eden's Bar and Grill located at 926 Gardner Avenue in Joliet, Illinois. Three individuals were struck by gunfire while they were inside the establishment. The victims included a 29-year-old man who sustained three gunshot wounds to his lower body, a 31-year-old woman who was shot in her right ankle, and a 25-year-old woman who suffered a gunshot wound to her right leg. Fortunately, their injuries were reported as non-life threatening. Upon receiving reports of the shooting, local police officers quickly arrived at the scene and began providing medical assistance to the victims until paramedics from the Joliet Fire Department arrived. The 25-year-old woman and the 29-year-old man were transported to Silver Cross Hospital, while the 31-year-old woman was taken to Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center for further treatment. Investigators believe that the gunfire originated from outside the bar, with bullets entering the building. During a search of the area, police discovered spent shell casings located outside the bar, indicating that the shooting may have been targeted or random in nature.
