Maro Itoje responds to Eddie Jones’ claims on captaincy role

Jones, the former England coach, had suggested that Itoje was 'inward-looking' and needed to develop his internal drive, even claiming to have sent him to acting classes, which Itoje denies. Despite these comments, Itoje has been appointed captain of Saracens, succeeding Jamie George, and has also taken on the role of England skipper during a summer tour. Itoje emphasized the importance of self-reflection and authenticity in his leadership style, stating that he aims to lead by example and be true to himself.
