Helen Flanagan Expresses Desire to Return to Coronation Street

Helen Flanagan, known for her role as Rosie Webster on the iconic soap Coronation Street, has expressed a strong desire to return to the show, contingent on a specific storyline. Flanagan, who first appeared on the series in 2000 at the age of nine, quickly became a beloved character, navigating various dramatic arcs alongside her on-screen parents, Sally and Kevin Metcalfe. After leaving the show in 2012 to explore other acting opportunities, she made brief returns in 2017 and 2018 before stepping away for maternity leave. During a recent appearance on the talk show Loose Women, Flanagan reunited with her on-screen mother, Sally Dynevor. When asked about a potential return to Coronation Street, Flanagan revealed that she would be keen to reprise her role, particularly if her character were to become a mother herself. "I would love Rosie to go back especially if she was mum so she could dump the kids on Sally," she said, hinting at the comedic chaos that could ensue. In a previous interview with the Daily Star, Flanagan reiterated her enthusiasm for returning to the show, emphasizing the importance of timing due to her young children. With her son recently turning one, she indicated that a return would need to align with her family commitments.
