- The center selected InSync for enhanced documentation and compliance, along with RCMS+ for streamlined billing.
- This initiative is expected to improve service delivery and reduce administrative burdens for staff.
On December 5, 2024, Qualifacts announced a partnership with the Catholic Charities Boston Family Counseling and Guidance Center based in Massachusetts. The goal of this collaboration is to modernize and enhance the center's clinical and billing processes. Selecting Qualifacts' InSync electronic health record (EHR) platform, the center aims to improve their clinical documentation capabilities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The center also opted for Qualifacts' RCMS+ revenue cycle management solution to simplify billing procedures and improve transparency regarding billed services. The partnership was prompted by the need to streamline several administrative functions. RCMS+ offers features that provide accurate and timely billing alongside comprehensive insights into claim statuses and reimbursements. This is intended to alleviate administrative burdens and provide the center with a clearer understanding of its financial standing, which is vital for the sustainability of services offered. In addition to improving billing, InSync's capabilities will enhance compliance with regulatory standards and support Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services. Such developments are crucial for meeting the increasing demands for quality care, particularly as mental health services grow in importance due to societal needs. The center’s commitment to improving the client experience is evident through the implementation of a user-friendly patient portal that allows for easier access to information. Callie Armstrong, the Director of Clinical Services at Catholic Charities Boston, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting how the advancements will allow staff to focus more on providing high-quality care rather than being encumbered by outdated systems. Both Armstrong and Josh Schoeller, CEO of Qualifacts, emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership in fostering innovation and growth within the organization. The center views this modernization initiative as essential for delivering effective client services while adhering to necessary compliance standards.
