This season, Bachchan is reportedly commanding a remarkable fee of Rs 5 crore per episode, marking a significant increase from his previous earnings on the show. Bachchan's association with KBC spans 24 years, beginning in 2000 when he was paid approximately Rs 25 lakh per episode. As the show gained popularity, his fees steadily increased. By the fourth season, his remuneration had doubled to Rs 50 lakh per episode, and by the sixth season, it had escalated to between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 2 crore. His earnings continued to rise, reaching Rs 2 crore in the eighth season and Rs 2.6 crore by the ninth season. In subsequent seasons, Bachchan's fees saw a consistent upward trend, with charges of Rs 3 crore per episode in the 10th season and Rs 3.5 crore for seasons 11 to 13. By the 14th season, he was earning between Rs 4 crore and Rs 5 crore per episode, reflecting his enduring popularity and the show's success. This season, KBC has introduced new rules, including the Super Sawaal and Duganastra. The Super Sawaal is a bonus question that follows the first safe stop, with no options or lifelines available. Contestants who answer correctly can utilize either the 2x Superpower or the Duganastra, adding an exciting twist to the game.
