Mike Lindell's MyPillow ordered to pay $780K to shipping giant DHL
- MyPillow Inc. was found in violation of a contract by failing to pay DHL for services within required timeframes.
- The lawsuit stemmed from a settlement agreement that MyPillow did not fulfill as required.
- Consequently, MyPillow is now legally obligated to pay a substantial sum to DHL amidst ongoing legal issues.
In Minnesota, a lawsuit culminated in a judgment ordering MyPillow Inc. to make significant financial restitution to DHL, a package delivery company. The ruling, which occurred in Hennepin County, stated that MyPillow must pay $777,729.73, encompassing the principal amount owed, accrued interest, and legal fees. The conflict arose when DHL alleged that MyPillow did not adhere to a contractual agreement that obligated them to pay for parcel delivery within 15 days of being billed. Shortly prior, in May 2023, MyPillow agreed to pay $775,000 to DHL in a settlement arrangement, which was to be fulfilled in 24 monthly payments starting in April 2024. However, MyPillow only managed to make partial payments totaling $64,583.34, with the last payment coming in June 2024. After a notification of default was sent to MyPillow in July, DHL took the next legal steps, filing a lawsuit to rectify the unpaid dues. This case is part of a series of legal challenges faced by Mike Lindell and his company, particularly amid controversy surrounding Lindell’s political affiliations and his support for claims regarding the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election.
